| Welcome to the Kacela Ridgeback Home page. We are Klaus and Jeanne Ohrnberger. Our kennel consists of Am/Can/UKC Grand Ch Kissi's Diata Makalo CGC (aka Kirby) Am/Can/ UKC Grand Ch Shadyridge Sharika Kacela LunaSea (aka Sheba) Am/Can/UKC Grand Ch Shadyridge Kaos for Kacela (aka Kaos) and two of our own breeding Am/Can/UKC CH Kacela Beyond Lunasea JC (aka Bailey) Kacela Driven to Lunasea (aka Inja). |

| We established our kennel in 1999 after a few years of being Ridgeback fanciers. Our first two Ridgebacks, Kirby and Shango, came from Sandra Drogmiller of Kissi African Lionhounds and they got us started down this path. We have been members of the RRCUS since 1997. We feel our dogs are our pets first and show dogs second. They are a part of our home and life that they now share with us and our two daughters. We strive to produce dogs that are healthy and possess good temperments. Some people think we spend too much time with our dogs, well if that happens we know how we will look. Click here. |

| While we love our dogs and the breed of Rhodesian Rigebacks, they are not for everyone. RIdgebacks are hounds and highly intelligent. They love food and will scan all surfaces for any morsels. They were bred to think for themselves and are independent . Training must start from day one or they will be training you. Also puppies are not for everyone and we highly recommend looking into rescued Ridgebacks. These dogs are carefully screened to ensure solid temperments and need new loving homes.
